She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Leisure (Sally) and Arthur Leisure; her brother Ray Abshire of Laurel, MD; her son Bryan Yancey of Muncie; and her pets, Samantha and Zoe.

She is survived by: her son David Yancey (Lisa); and her pet Scotty. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, a nephew.
