She was predeceased by: her parents, Estill Carter and Virginia Carter (Hughes); her daughter Sandra Shell; her grandsons, Ty Harber and Gerald Harber; and her siblings, Eileen Toomey, Willard Carter and Avanell Carter.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Stinchcomb; her children, Karen Riley (Judd), Sharon Golden (Matt) and Danny Shell (Cherie); her brothers, Kermit Carter and James Carter; and her grandchildren, Madison, Jackson and Nicholas. She is also survived by Wife and Mom who loved and spoiled her children and grandchildren.
