He is survived by: his wife Deidre Bair; his children, Toby Bair (Julie Gingerich), Kris Bair (Missy Tuttle) and Taya Saylor (Johnny); and his siblings, Curt Bair (Diane) and Paula Shultz (Bill). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a great-grandson.

Memorials may be directed to the Blue River Covenant Brethren Church or the Shepherd's House.
