With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cathy Barnes of Churubusco, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cathy Barnes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Johnson and Florence Johnson (Broeking); and her husband Dennis Barnes. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Malott (Rickey); her siblings, Tyke Johnson (Carolyn), David Johnson (Karole), Sue Williams (Joe) and Lori Henning (Scott); and her grandchildren, Meranda Malott, Hadley Malott and Brody Malott.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel (206 N Main St, Churubusco, IN 46723). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Eel River Cemetery (11022 Carroll Rd, Churubusco, IN 46723).
