He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Link and Esther Link (Russell); his granddaughter Avery Grace Lockett; and his sister Joyce Bunner. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Link (Raven) of Chrisney, IN; his children, David Link (Susan) of Buffaloville, IN., Kimberly Clark (Jay) of Santa Claus, IN., Robin Meadors (Rodney) of Richland, IN. and Marsha Lockett (Michael) of Benton, KY; his grandchildren, Josh Meadors, Brent Meadors (Erin), Cameron Clark, Jeffrey Clark, Aubrey Basley (Michael) and Landon Lockett; and also Cathy Coomes. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid pandemic a family funeral service was held with burial at Little Pigeon Cemetery in Lamar, Indiana.
