He was predeceased by : his parents, Carvil Cain and Eleanor Cain (Campbell); his son James Michael Cain; and his siblings, Gene Cain, Charles Barnett and Ailene Smith.
He is survived by : his wife Donna Cain (Beasley); his daughter Michelle; his siblings, Fred Cain, Ellis Cain, Kathy Valdez and Mary Roy (Russell); and his stepchildren, Shannon Smith and Billie Hargis. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
