He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Shourds and Lucille Shourds (Egnew); and his aunt Lucille Shourds. He is survived by : his wife Mary Jean; his daughter Renee Lampert (Jeff); his grandchildren, Josh Hufnagel (Jodi), Kaci Messenger (Robert), Sephora Nickles (Tyler), Calli Threet (Marcus), Armande Hufnagel (Lalo), Katelyn Mehringer (Dacoda) and Alli Kempf (Conner); his great grandchildren, Payton, Eli, Sydney, Aminy, Xandur, Xaqariah, Dalyah, Myka, Cash, Addi and Cohen; and his great great grandchildren, Ty and Layla.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Chrisney Baptist Church.
