John Peter Ficker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2022, at the age of 76, John Peter Ficker (Chrisney, Indiana), born in Spencer, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Ficker and Claudina Ficker (Evrard); his siblings, Edward and Rita Brinksneader; and his cousin Paul Evrard.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Painter; his former wife Judy Ficker of Chrisney; his children, Greg of Rockport, Tammy Perkins (Jimmy), John (Kim) and Brad (Jacqueline) of Chrisney; his grandchildren, Jordan, Meggan, Katlyn, Alyson Ficker, Lauren Parker, Nickolas Perkins, Madeline Nelson, Kolin, Konner Ficker, Bryson, Braxley and Bryder Ficker; his sister Margaret Powers (Dallas); and his brother-in-law Chuck Painter. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 3 nieces; 5 great nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Martin Catholic Church or St. Martin I Cemetery.
