He was predeceased by: his father William Buxton; his wife Minnie; his sons, Raymond and David; and his brothers, Clyde and Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, James Buxton (Leslie), Jerry Buxton (Joyce), Stephen Buxton (Deanna) and William Buxton (Marsha); and his sisters, Mildred Snyder and Evelyn Maxfield. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
