He was predeceased by: his parents, David William and Earlidean Harris (Trinkle); and his brothers, Dennis, Bobby and Jerry Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Mae Harris (Summers); his stepchildren, Theresa Wade, Robert Bell (Rita) and Billy Bell (Vicki); and his siblings, Carol Hood, Bill Harris, Jim Harris (Joyce), Judy Johnson (Royal), Paul "P. K." Harris (Millie), Davey Harris, Nancy Harris and Rick Harris (Celeste). He is also survived by many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Free Zion General Baptist Church in Rockport, IN.
