Hallie Jean Ayer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hallie Jean Ayer of Chrisney, Indiana, born in Spencer, Indiana, who passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Chester M. Shrode; her husband Belleville "Eugene" Ayer; her sons, Larry, Gary and Roger Ayer; her brothers, Chester A. and Thomas Shrode; and her son-in-law Bill Weigel.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Hurley (Dennis), David Ayer (Susan) and Jeanette Theising (Mark); her sister Mary Ann Horn (Jake); and her daughters-in-law, Barbara Ayer and Marilyn Ayer-Jansing. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
