With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Skalku (Chesterton, Indiana), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Balash and Andrew Skalku; and his son Randal L. Skalku. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hillis; his son Randy; his grandson Andrew; his sister Beverly Sullivan; his niece Kim Stacker (Steve); his nephews, Scott Mizerack (Shannon), Jeff Hillis (Tammy), Doug Hillis (Shelly) and Mike Hillis (Sally); his sister-in-law Carol Hillis; and his friend Bill.

Memorial donations in honor of Bill may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
