She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Edds and Diana Turi (Edds); her grandson Aleksander Turi of Maine; and her sister-in-law Virginia Defourneaux (Ginny) of Indianapolis.
She was awarded the 2002 Athena award for her multiple contributions to the community and was a strong longtime member of her beloved Chesterton United Methodist Church.
