Sigmund Niepokoj Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sigmund Niepokoj (Chesterton, Indiana), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Chester Niepokoj and Leonard Niepokoj; his nephew Dan Niepokoj; his great-nephew Joey Niepokoj; and his brother-in-law Stan Kesel.

He is survived by: his parents, Stanley Niepokoj and Sophie Niepokoj (Wilusz); his children, Keith Niepokoj (Debbie), Anne Elpers (Brian), Teri Perkins (Jim) and Kathryn Baehl (Jeff); his grandchildren, Colleen, Jessie, Dani, Sami, Marci, Bradley, Maggie, Jacob, Andrew and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Colbie, Ayden and Keith; his sister Jeanette Kesel; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice and Ruby Niepokoj. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
