She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Vena; her parents-in-law, David Sturrock and Avon Sturrock; and her son-in-law Nicholas Hartlein. She is survived by: her father John Vena; her brothers, John, James and Vincent Vena; her husband Dwight Sturrock; her children, Daniel, Sarah, Rachael, Bethany, Josiah and Hannah; and her grandchildren, Savannah, Nicholas, Eijah, Aria, Joren, Ava, Lucas and Levi.
