She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wood and Leona Wood (Poulston); and her siblings, Elease Komara, Audrey Goldasich and George Wood.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Dimitroff; her children, David Dimitroff (Cathy), Elyse Roseberry (Marlin), Jim Dimitroff (Barb) and Jennifer Dimitroff; her grandchildren, David Dimitroff, Jr., Brian Dimitroff, Kristyn Avalos (Jose), Sean Dimitroff (Sara), Kelly Dimitroff, Justin Roseberry (Mary) and Jennifer Megan Roseberry; her great grandchildren, Mia and Ella Dimitroff; and her friend Sue Grossbauer. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in honor of Ruth may be given to Augsburg Lutheran Church, 100 N Mineral Springs Rd, Porter, IN 46304.
