It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Onie Mae Minor of Chesterton, Indiana, born in Marion, Louisiana, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Bowen and Verna B. Bowen (Bardin); and her husband Lyle R. Minor. She is survived by: her son John Edward Minor (Julia) of Westville; her nephew John Bowen (Ellen); her grandchildren, Leanne, Christopher "Skip", Nicole, Travis, Thomas and Johnathan; and her sons, Thomas Wayne and Charles Mickey.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Onie to the Dementia Friends of Indiana, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
