She was predeceased by: her parents, William Morrissey and Therese Morrissey (Chelle); her husband Vincent Lafata; her children, Kathleen Lafata and Jeffery Lafata; and her siblings, Barbara Riley and William Morrissey.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lafata (Wanda) of Lake Station, IN, David Lafata (late Tammy) of North Carolina, Paul Lafata (Barb) of Portage, IN, Therese Lafata of Chesterton, IN and Elaina Albers of LaPorte, IN; her siblings, Phyllis Rodman (Harry) of Chesterton, IN, Patrick Morrissey (late Martha) of South Carolina, Kathleen Morrissey of Indianapolis, IN and Eileen Garrett (Ray) of Tennessee; and her sister-in-law Josephine Fiordirosa of Chicago, IL.. She is also survived by grandchildren; treasured 12 great-grandchildren.
