He was predeceased by: his father Craig Robert Stephens; his cousins, Josh Phillips and Kyle Olson; and his grandparents, Jeanette Schnadenberg, Eleanor and William "Doc" Walters.

He is survived by: his mother Carol Schnadenberg; his son Arlo; the mother of his children Karla Shelbourne; his sisters, Holly Bradford (Brent) and Echo Denny (Jason); his nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Ian, Jason and Ellery; and his aunts and uncles, Linda Bowman, John Schnadenberg (Karan), Debbie Phillips (Randy) and Steve Schnadenberg.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the White-Love Funeral Home (525 S 2nd St, Chesterton, IN 46304). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be given to Arlo's college fund.
