She was predeceased by: her parents, Ofa Shaffer and Kathleen Shaffer (King); her husband William Scott; and her brothers, Clinton Shaffer and Charles "Pete" Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Tamatha; her grandson Anthony Lozano of Chesterton, IN; her close friend Jane Pivarski (Lou) of Christopher, IL; her friends, Donna, Jerry Daniels of Michigan City, IN and Margaret Zerby of Valparaiso, IN; her sister Emma Mae Thaxton of Charleston, WV; and also Rodney Rudd of Portage, IN. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
