She was predeceased by: her parents, Offley Highwood and Verna Highwood (Pirrung); her husband Harold McCorkel; and her brother Warren Highwood. She is survived by: her children, Julie McCorkel of Chesterton and Harold McCorkel Jr. of North Judson; and her sister-in-law Nancy Highwood of Chesterton, Indiana..
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's children's hospital.
