With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth E. Smith Jr. of Chesterton, Indiana, who passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Smith (Piper); his sister Cheryl Smith; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Patricia Sztuba; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Daniel and Daniel Sztuba.
He is survived by: his father Kenneth E. Smith Sr.; his wife Catherine S. Smith; his daughters, Madeline Fuentes (Santiago) and Tifiney Weber (Michael); his grandchildren, Analeese Weber, McKenzie Weber, Daniel Weber and Emma Lyons; his sister Piper Bakrevski (Louie); and his siblings-in-law, Vicki Stewart (Ed) and Tom Sztuba (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
