It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Heying of Chesterton, Indiana, born in Bangor, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Gasper and Helen V. Gasper (Schaller); her husband Virgil R. Heying; her siblings, William Gasper, Dennis Gasper, Carl Gasper, Marie Doll and Marjorie Schmitt; and her siblings-in-law, Vernon Doll, Albert Doll, Robert Schmitt, Marvin Heying, Ronald Heying, Harold Theisen, Guido Leo, Delores Gasper, Mona Gasper, Maria "Charo" Gasper and Ruth Heying.

She is survived by: her children, Janet Koutelas (Manuel) of Valparaiso, IN, Mark Heying (Pam Monson) of White Cloud, MI, Jill Burns (Donald) of Michigan City, IN, Jeanne Kasai (Miki) of Alexandria, VA, Judy Fitzpatrick (Jeffrey) of Mount Carroll, IL, Julie Sanchez (David) of Naperville, IL, Jennifer Manco (Dominick) of Fort Wayne, IN and Jami Heying of Valparaiso, IN; her grandchildren, Krist (Sara), Leigh, John (Mirjana), Adam, Ryan (Francine), Megan (Jonathan), Anthony (Judy), Melissa, Nicholas, Marcus, Benjamin, Sophia, Ethan, Silas, Braeden, Emmanuel (Candee) and Christina; her great grandchildren, Tyg, Zanna, Grayson, Ryleigh, Alexis, Anna, Spencer, Tabitha, Morgan and Madison; her siblings, Muriel Doll of La Crosse, WI, Thomas Gasper (Doris) of Onalaska, WI, Daniel Gasper (Suzie) of Newark, CA, Stephen Gasper (Sharon) of Cambridge, WI and Barbara Mlsna (Dennis) of Cashton, WI; and her sister-in-law Dorene Theisen Leo. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.
