She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Amler and Lucile Elizabeth Jones (Tepper); her siblings, James "Jimmy" Chapin and Martha Williams; her niece Hope Williams; and her nephew Thomas Sollmann.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Elizabeth (Kati); her husband John V. Kavanaugh; her children, Kari Pechous (John), Kati McGinty (Jonathan) and Patrick Kavanaugh; her grandchildren, Ainslee McGinty, Rori McGinty, Jack Pechous and Maggie Mae McGinty; her brother Sam Jones (Nancy); and her nieces and nephews, Dana Herron, Bo Williams, Bill Jones, Lorenz Sollmann, Jennifer Stanger, Terrence Kavanaugh, Jon Dennis Kavanaugh, Molly Zmuda and Bridget Hagerman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Heart to Heart Hospice, 402 Wall Street, Suite 12, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383, who provided kind and loving support to Donna and John this past year.
