He is survived by: his children, Donna Scherer (Ralph) of Racine, WI, Donny Weitzel (Tina) of Chesterton, IN, Sandy Harper (Mike) of Payne, OH, Jim Weitzel (Sally) of Valparaiso, IN and Tom Weitzel (Raquel) of Round Lake, IL; and his sister Patricia Johnson of Alabama. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
