He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Valade and Mary Louise Valade (Grabner); and his siblings, Anthony Valade and Donna Jean Lively. He is survived by: his wife Judith Valade (Wittmann) of Chesterton; his daughters, Deena Pidrak (Peter) of Valparaiso and Victoria Odegaard (Erik) of Dyer; his grandchildren, Shannon, Anthony Pidrak, Matthew and Nicole Odegaard; and his brother Edward Valade (Sandy) of Lansing, IL..
