He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Miegl and Betty Miegl (Bitzer); his brothers, Brian Miegl and Kevin Miegl; and his grandson Jonathan Miegl Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Beth Hammond Miegl; his children, Jon Miegl (Tammy) of Northwest Indiana and Jenna Miegl of Northwest Indiana; and his grandchildren, Mia Miegl, Maverick Miegl, Miley Miegl and Braelynn Severin.
In light of the COVID 19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later time.
