She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Gates and Pauline Gates (White); her daughter Rebecca Lipp; and her great grandchild Zoie Lipp. She is survived by: her husband Ellis Lipp; her brother Michael Gates (Connie); her children, Martin Lipp (Beth) and Stefanie Porter (Gene); and her grandchildren, Lucas Lipp, Daniel Lipp, Megan Luther (George), Kane Porter and Chezney Porter. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
