He was predeceased by: his mothers, Essie Gulley and Lona Gulley (Pendlum); and his siblings, Arnold, Herb, Charles, Mary and Charlotte.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gulley; his children, Greg Gulley (Fred Middleton) of Indianapolis, Gerald Gulley of Chicago and Dyana (Michael); his grandchildren, Brett Ward, Justin Ward, Jayden Jackson, Kristin Bojrab, Alysha Zimmerman and Emma Heisler; his great grandchildren, Tyler and Wyatt Ward; and his sisters, Mildred Kline, Betty Thurston and Lula Williams.
