It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Tungate of Charlestown, Indiana, born in Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Tungate and Reba Forston Tungate; his children, Kenneth Tungate of Athens, TN, David Tungate of Pekin, IN and Susan Tungate Maxwell of Prospect, KY; and his siblings, Sonja Kendrick of Charlestown and Dr. Fred Tungate (Sharon Mattingly) of Sebring, FL. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
