He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Packwood and Sally Packwood of Jeffersonville; his siblings, Tom Packwood, Richard Packwood, Virginia Anderson and Dorothy Hayes; his nephews, Kevin Stewart and Ronnie Packwood; his parents-in-law, Etzell Stewart and Virginia Stewart; and his brother-in-law John Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Packwood of Charlestown; his daughters, Sandy Packwood of Charlestown and Sherry Brock (Paul) of Charlestown; his brother Ron Packwood (Tina); and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Packwood, Jean Hogue (David), Patricia Stewart (Steve) and Yvonne Stewart (Richard). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Hwy 311, Sellersburg, IN 47172). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prather School House (6348 Charlestown-Jeffersonville Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
