He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Holder and Evelyn Brendle Holder; his wife Leona; his siblings, Sarah McLean (Jim), John Holder, Barbara Cartright (Randall), Hugh Holder (Carolyne), Donnie Holder (Judy) and George Holder; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Montgomery (Max), Louise Garrity, Martha Montgomery (Ron), Dominic Canale and Linda Mitchell.
He is survived by: his caregivers, Cathy James (Bob) and William Holder (Joyce); his grandsons, Evan James (Julia), Will Holder and Diego; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Holder, Shirley Holder, Ruth Milner (Bill), Margaret Canale, Eddie Garrity and Edwin Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home-Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
