He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rhodes and Josephine Rhodes (Jackson); his siblings, George "June" Rhodes, Jr., Everett "Poodie" Rhodes, Josephine Thornton, Margaret Jean Martin and Melvin "Bill" Rhodes; and his mother-in-law Minnie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rhodes; his children, DeLisa Rhodes-Jones (Lamont), Tommy Rhodes Jr., Glenn Rhodes (Michelle), Candice Payton (Dwayne), LaShawna Rhodes and Kendrick Rhodes (Abby); and his sisters, Mary Frances Jemerson, Susie Rose and Hazel Harris. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great grand-children; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
