He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Bettler and Frances C. Bettler; his brother Donald R. Bettler; and his sister-in-law Lou Ann Bettler. He is survived by: his brothers, Charles R. Bettler (Barbara) and David L. Bettler (Bobbi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
