He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Austin and Helen V. Hawkins Austin; and his siblings, David, Andy, Darlene and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Williams Austin; his children, Robert Darrell Austin Jr. of Charlestown, Jaye Dee Austin (Tiffany) of Nabb, IN and Roberta Lynn Craven (Allen) of Charlestown, IN; his grandchildren, Dakota Hadley, Jayden Austin, Cooper and Dalton Craven; and his great grandchild Eliza Hadley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
