He is survived by: his parents, John Akemon and Pauline Hooper Akemon; his wife Carol D. Akemon; his daughters, Jessica Akemon of Charlestown and Jennifer Akemon of Charlestown; his grandson Ayden Akemon of Charlestown; his sisters, Carol Smith of Commisky, IN, Bess Burgstrom (John) of Marysville, IN and DeLynn Sizemore (Ricky) of Charlestown; and his brother-in-law Christopher Clair of Charlestown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
