He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil McCutcheon and Lillie Scott McCutcheon; his wife Edna Ruth McCutcheon; his son John Douglas McCutcheon; and his sisters, Betty Lou McCutcheon and Eva June Parkhill.

He is survived by: his children, Connie Sue Murphy (Michael) of Jeffersonville, IN, Anthony Wayne McCutcheon (Nichole) and Brian Lee McCutcheon (Alma); his siblings, Leroy McCutcheon of Henryville, IN and Linda Lambert of New Salisbury, IN; and his grandchildren, Kerry, Donovan, Megan, Patrick, Brianna and Emma.
