With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marcelene Long of Charlestown, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marcelene left this world on August 10, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hoffman and Lorene Geyman Hoffman; her siblings, John F. Hoffman (Mary Helen) and Ilene Anger (Robert); her brother-in-law Stanley W. Haines; and her children-in-law, Joan Powell Long, Suzanne Phillips Long and Troy Vessels.
She is survived by: her husband David Long; her children, Jeffery Long (Hope) of Clover, SC, Mark Long of Underwood, IN, Susan Harkness (Bobby) of Paoli, IN and Dennis Long (Cinnamon) of Charleston, SC; her sister Mary Haines of Cincinnati, OH; and her cousin Bill (Shirley Oswald). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
