He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Robert M. and Edith Gillespie (Adkins); his wife Barbara Ann Gillespie (Davidson); his brother Larry Neil Gillespie; and his nephews, George Eric Elliott and Frank Shane Wayne Davidson.
He is survived by: his children, Larry M. Gillespie (Amy) of Charlestown and Shawna Coleman (Dustin) of Charlestown; his siblings, Gary Gillespie of Charlestown and Eva Marion of Charlestown; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Lincoln Gillespie, Corbyn Coleman, Lilly Gillespie, Bionca Martin and Fallen Coleman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
