He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Thurmond and Christine Ferguson (Brown); his wife Bettye Sue Ferguson (Langsford); his children, Dan Ferguson (Carla) and Ginny King (Mark); his grandchildren, Jack, Chrissy Ferguson, Lilly and Alex King; his cousins, Andrew Armstrong and LeAnn Stelly; his sister-in-law Rebecca Tucker; and his caregivers, Jennifer Shaw, Kaleigh Grayson and Dione White. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, and an assembly of friends.
