He is survived by: his wife Pamela Couch Ballard of Charlestown; his children, Nick Ballard (Amanda) of Charlestown and Abby Newland (Jason) of Lawrenceburg, IN; his grandchildren, Evanne Newland, Mikala Newland, Addison Ballard and Anna Ballard; and his nieces, Patricia Jones, Ricke Gritten, Amelia Couch and Eden Couch.
