He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe A. Wafford and Mattie Hall Wafford; and his son Christopher Wafford. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Allen Wafford; and his children, James M. Wafford (Sherri) of Noblesville, IN, Lawrence E. Wafford (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN, Kenneth A. Wafford (Tracy) of Batesville, IN, Timothy J. Wafford (Talia) of Louisville, KY, Deborah M. Wafford of Noblesville, Darlena A. Hodges (David) of Georgetown, IN and Marianna L. Clark (Adam) of Charlestown. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home-Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (St. Michael Cemetery) (101 St Michaels Dr, Charlestown, IN 47111).
