He is survived by: his wife Stella Thompson; his daughter Shonna Bohannan (Jim) of Charlestown; his brother Tommy Thompson of Boston, KY; his grandchildren, Brandon Wills (Courtney) of Charlestown, Brittany Wills of Charlestown and Jimmy Bohannan, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Eliana and Braelynn Wills; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Deaton of Charlestown, Jack Deaton of Harrodsburg, KY, Jodi Wilson of Taylorsville, KY, Betty Sutherland of Hanford, CA. and Joanne Thompson of Bardstown, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
