He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Shelton and Beulah Shelton (Saylor); his daughter Melissa J. "Missy" Marion; and his brother Clarence Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Shelton (Land); his children, Mike Shelton of Charlestown, Jimmy Shelton (Beth) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Judy Donohue (Jim) of Scottsburg, Susie Shelton of Destin and Lisa Calahan (Gaylon) of Winchester, Tennessee; and his brother Billy Reid Shelton (Dessie) of Crab Orchard, Kentucky. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
