He is survived by: his wife Janice Schmidt Lindsey; his children, James Lindsey, II (Diana) of Scottsburg, IN, Joseph Lindsey (Jessica) of Charlestown and Leah Lindsey (Will Claritt) of Cocoa Beach, FL; his brother Bill Lindsey of Hawaii; and his grandchildren, Aaron Purvis, Malkom Claritt, Angel Lindsey, James Lindsey, II, Alana Steele and Katrina Lindsey.
