It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Iven May of Charlestown, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 84, on December 11, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Iven J. May and Joy May (Hutsell); his son Sean Christian May; and his siblings, Juston May (Juck), Anthony May (Tony), Aleta Parker, Rowena Ashby, Iris Irish and Linda May.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo May (Mauldin); and his children, Rodney Ray May, Rob May, Laura Murphy, Tina Minch and Tamela Wellock. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter along with all of his nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home-Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Life Celebration Service.
