He is survived by: his children, Deborah "Deb" Axsom, Sherry Wright (Dale), Colleen Brendle (John), George A. "Bub" Romans, Jr. (Kim Mills) and Gary Romans (Melinda); and his sister Marie Nifong. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
