He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Barry and Willie Fox Barry; his wife Mary Barry; his daughter Cathy Barry; and his brothers, Allen and Haynes.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth W. Barry (Glendene) of Charlestown; his sister Frances Thornberry of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Josh Barry (Lindy), Nicole Brown (Andre), Pat Barry (Joz), Shawn Abma (Miechelle) and Shane Abma (Nick); his great grandchildren, Kasen of Kinsley, A. J., Cade, Trevor, Spencer, Parker and Dylan; and his great great grandchildren, Charley, Windi and Heidi.
