She is survived by: her children, Diane Cognata Weitlauf (Bill) of Louisville, Malia Edmonds (Mike) of Charlestown, Paula Wessel (Duffy) of Louisville and Timothy Wessel of Louisville; her siblings, Charles Schafer, Jr. of Clarksville, James Schafer of Sellersburg and Norma Krentz of Carmel; her significant other Clarence Shaftlein; her grandchildren, Chris Rider (Heela), Stacy Jackson (Chris) and Kelly Cantwell (Erica); and her great grandchildren, Brody Jackson, Bryce Jackson, Payton Francher, Sadie Jackson and Annabelle Douglas.
Flora was a giving woman and would appreciate donations to any of the following charities: St. Michaels Church, Trinity Free Clinic, American Cancer Society, New Dawn Africa or The American Heart Association.
