He is survived by: his wife Betty Bower (Collins); his children, David Bower (Sharon) of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Valerie Gibbs (Scott) of Brentwood, Tennessee; his brother Steven Bower (Gail) of New Washington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Matthew Bower of Conyers, Georgia, Melanie Bower of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Reagan and Presley Gibbs of Brentwood, Tennessee.; his sisters-in-law, Linda Fellows (Bill) and Donna Williams; his nieces and nephews, Bryan Bower (Pam), Scott Fellows (Jill), Cody Williams (Alysha), Starla Peek (Warren), Stephanie Carver and Camille Williams; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Natalie, Thomas, Henry and Stephen VanAernam.
